Sue Shire

Sue started in Optometry in 1977 in Illinois.  While in Illinois she received her technician's certification with the American Optometric Association.  She served on the board of Illinois Paraoptometric Society for twelve years.  Sue and her husband Larry moved to Michigan in March of 1998 and started working in our practice in April of that year.  She passed her opticianry certification in 2005 and in 2011, passed her test for her advanced certification. She is currently serving as President of the Opticians Association of Michigan.  Sue and Larry have three children and two grandchildren, all currently living in Illinois.

Sherry grew up in Dowagiac and is raising her two children in Dowagiac with her husband Bob.  Her past careers have been as a cosmetologist and a sales representative for Energizer and Hershey's.  She has been with Dr. Montgomery's practice since March 2007 and is Drs' chairside assistant and contact lens assistant. She is a board certified optician as of 2010.

Roxanne Slone

Roxanne "Roxie" is our receptionist that will greet you with a bright, happy face when you arrive at the office. Roxie moved here from Florida with her fiance and young son. She has been with Dr. Montgomery's practice since November, 2009. She passed her test and became a board certified optician in 2011.
